We are seeking to appoint a dynamic, flexible and articulate School Business Manager to join our professional and friendly team, with responsibility for the areas of finance, premises and personnel. 28 hours per week, 41 working weeks per year (term time plus 2 weeks) working pattern to be negotiated but to include a minimum of 4 days per week. Annual leave to be taken during school closure periods. Salary dependent on experience, actual salary pro rata within the range of £19,426 to £21,172.
This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who would like to progress their career within the field of school business management. School experience is preferred, however support and training will be given for the right candidate.
The successful candidate will:
have a proven high level of experience of finance, accounting and business management procedures
embrace the challenges and pressures on a school business manager in a busy school
demonstrate excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
show initiative and strive for improvement
display excellent communication skills, and be confident to present financial and other key information to leaders and governors
understand the needs of primary school children and their families
have a commitment to safeguarding
