The Premises Team are a vital part of our School ensuring that facilities are ready for staff and students to use every day.
The Premises Team are responsible for the security of the premises, the movement of goods and furniture (including arrangements for lettings), the maintenance of heating and lighting services and the good appearance of the School site. We are a busy School and there is lots to do every day. We have an ambitious plan of activities and events and the caretaking team are vital for ensuring that these can function effectively. Applicants should have experience of caretaking in a similar environment and a willingness to support the School.
We require a casual Caretaker to cover for a period of long-term absence. The standard hours of work are generally expected to be 6.00am to 12.00pm, Monday to Friday, with some flexibility required. The hourly rate above includes an allowance for holiday pay. The Caretaker will also be expected to do overtime as required to cover evening or weekend School activities and bookings of School premises. Such additional work will be recognised through overtime and let payments.
