An Intervention learning Support is required for 20 hours per week term-time only. 10am-2.30pm (half hour break) - Monday-Friday.

We are looking for a competent and experienced candidate to provide interventions for our EYFS and KS1 children. The successful candidate will be experienced in delivering high quality interventions for both English and Maths with children who have been identified as requiring additional support.

You will be working with small groups and/or on a 1:1 basis with high level needs pupils, running interventions for pupils for speech and language, numeracy and literacy. You will need to demonstrate your experience within these areas. You will take responsibility for creating any educational resources that are required and assist in the monitoring and assessment of children participating in interventions, providing verbal and written feedback.

You will organise and run interventions for speaking and listening, phonics, reading, writing and maths groups and take responsibility for feedback to the class teacher or SENCO on children's progress.

It is essential that you have previous and recent experience of delivering high quality measurable interventions. You will have a thorough understanding of the National Curriculum and child development, which you are able to implement in your practice.

You will be a flexible individual, who is able to manage their time efficiently and essentially you will have exceptional communication skills and be highly organised.
