Technician in Engineering
Starting Salary £21,575.00 per annum

The NEW £11million Stansted Airport College opened in September 2018 and we are seeking to appoint a Technician to support assist with the preparation of learning materials and equipment for the workshop, assist with the general day to day running of the workshop and supervise trainees on a regular basis.
The College is a partnership between London Stansted Airport and Harlow College - the first of its kind at any airport in the country. The centre will have purpose built, industry standard facilities providing training for 500 young people per year.
The College is also linked with HAMEC in Harlow. The £11 million Harlow Advanced Manufacturing & Engineering Centre (HAMEC) will train the next generation of engineers in Advanced Manufacturing. Equipped with state-of-the-art industrial equipment, the centre will provide technical, professional and apprenticeship training as well as industry updating.
About the role
Working with the Engineering team at Stansted you will assist with the preparation of learning materials and equipment for the workshop, assist with the general day to day running of the workshop and supervise trainees on a regular basis. The college offers Engineering programmes in the following areas: Aircraft Maintenance, Performing Engineering Operations, Operations Maintenance and Mechatronics Maintenance.

The successful candidate will have relevant industrial experience and candidates must have an understanding of the relevant health and safety regulations.
