It is an exciting time at Becket Keys Church of England School (Outstanding, 2014). We are working hard to build upon the exceptional GCSE successes of our three founding cohorts as we aim even higher in 2020. We have also been establishing our new Sixth Form into its third year. Our heavily over-subscribed school is the ideal place to take your next steps in teaching.
As part of our growth plan, we are now seeking a capable teacher to join our ambitious, successful and hard-working A Level Psychology teaching team. If you can deliver rigorous Psychology teaching that suits the demands of the new A Level, we want to hear from you. Our preference is for a part time teacher working 3 days per week. However, if you can teach other subjects, then we can make this a full-time role.
We have a high demand for Psychology at A-Level and already have a highly experienced teacher leading on this and Sociology for us. We want you to work alongside her in strengthening this relatively new department. You will have plenty of opportunities to grow as a successful teacher here and we are well placed to guide anyone new to the career.
The appointee will be committed to our high expectations and core values. As a Church of England School, we take our Faith extremely seriously. However, we welcome applications from teachers irrespective of their faith or lack of it. All we ask is for applicants to appreciate and respect the beliefs of others and have strong moral principles.
