STANDARDS AND PROGRESS LEADER - L8-10

(Must be able to teach either History or Maths to at least G.C.S.E.)

FULL TIME

Moulsham High School has an excellent academic record with outcomes consistently being well above national. We also possess a genuine commitment to the wellbeing and development of staff and have high expectations of student behaviour. We received a glowing Ofsted report in March 2019.

We are seeking to appoint an inspirational Standards and Progress Leader to take up post in September 2020. This is a fantastic opportunity to help shape and influence the direction of the school's already outstanding pastoral team. As a Standards and Progress Leader you will be a member of the school's Executive team with a reduced teaching allocation to allow you time to support and monitor students' progress effectively. Standards and Progress Leaders are supported by a team of Pastoral Managers specialising in safeguarding, wellbeing and behaviour.

The successful candidate will:

· Be a model best practice at all times.

· Have the ability to mix the operational aspects of pastoral work with a strategic vision.

· Have a proven track record of academic rigour in raising achievement.

· Be able to inspire and challenge groups and individuals.

· Be a team player with excellent communication skills.
