Finance Assistant

Band 2 Point 4 (April 2020 National Pay Spine Scale 3 Point 4)

20 per hours a week

39 weeks (Term time plus non pupil days)

Hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 1pm

We are looking to appoint a Finance Assistant to join our Finance Team. The ideal candidate will:

  • Have experience of working in a fast paced office environment, preferably within finance.
  • Be calm, with a professional and confident attitude, drive and enthusiasm to support the Finance Team.
  • Be organised, have a high degree of accuracy, attention to detail and have excellent communication skills.
  • Be able to work on own initiative with the ability to work under pressure and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines.

The Boswells School is a large 11-18 secondary school that serves the area of north Chelmsford. The school is an extremely popular, over-subscribed convertor academy that enjoys an excellent reputation in the local and wider community. We were graded ‘Good’ in every area by OFSTED in February 2017 and are working towards our goal of becoming a truly great school.
