Ingatestone Infant School is looking for an experienced enthusiastic SENCO teacher who would like to join our small but excellent team. We are a happy, friendly and forward looking school where children thrive in a caring and supportive environment. This is a part-time role for one and a half days per week from January 2020 or as soon after this date as possible. The salary isMPR plus SEN Allowance (if already hold the National Award for SEN Co-ordination)
The successful applicant will:
· be able to demonstrate excellence in teaching and be highly professional
· have a secure knowledge of how children learn best
· expect high standards from all children and have a good understanding of how to support children's progress
· have energy, creativity, a sense of fun and the ability to be flexible
· be able to work co-operatively in a team
· be an effective communicator with all stakeholders and multi-agencies
· be organised
· be resilient
The successful candidate will also hold the National Award for SEN Co-ordination, be working towards it, or willing to undertake the training.
You will need to manage LSAs and lead interventions across the school working closely with the Headteacher.
