Part Time - SEN Learning Support Assistant

Job Description

We are looking to appoint a (1:1) SEN Learning Support Assistant to work with (a pupil)/children who needs an adult to facilitate and support access to the curriculum. The post will be for 2 terms and will end in July 2020, and will be for 25 hours a week working from 8:30am to 1:30pm.

The successful applicant will be required to:

· Be committed to rising pupil achievement and making learning fun.

· Have high expectations of all children.

· Have a good sense of humour!

· Assist in the delivery of differentiated teaching and learning

· Prepare resources to support the needs of the child

· Implement an Individual Learning Plan for the pupil

· Work as part of a team under the direction of the class teacher & SENCO

· Show initiative and flexibility

· Have the ability to build effective relationships with staff and children

· Have a good standard of English and Maths

· Have a calm, observant and responsive approach.
