What Ofsted says about Waltham Holy Cross Primary School:

"Leaders and teachers have developed effective partnerships with parents and carers. The new system for recording children's development allows teachers to share with parents information about their child's learning. Many parents contribute to their child's learning record, enabling teachers to gain a bigger picture of what children can do. This has had a positive impact on increasing parental engagement."

"The wider curriculum provides pupils with a range of learning opportunities. Pupils' social, moral, spiritual and cultural development is supported well through the school's curriculum."

"Pupils enjoy school and develop positive attitudes to learning. They are taught how to behave towards each other and how to respect the views of others from different backgrounds."

"The behaviour of pupils is good."

"Pupils play well together during break times. They are happy and say that they enjoy school. They are polite, courteous and listen carefully in lessons."

"Parents comment positively about how their children enjoy school. One parent commented, 'The children are rewarded for good work and good behaviour, it certainly has had a positive effect on my daughter.'"

What Ofsted says about NET Academies Trust:

"Strong and purposeful leadership is galvanising staff, raising expectations and transforming the culture of the school. Other senior leaders share your ambitious vision for the school."

OFSTED 2018

"The executive headteacher has made an enormous contribution to the improvements in this school in the two and a half years that she has been in post. She uses the 'fire in her belly' and her very high aspirations to continually and doggedly pursue excellence in every aspect of school life. The executive headteacher has a very clear vision for the future development of the school, based on a thorough understanding of what works in education and how children learn." OFSTED 2017

"Leaders of the MAT and the headteacher have a vision for the school, which staff share. There is a clear culture of hard work and excellent behaviour throughout the school."

"The school's work to promote pupils' personal development and welfare is outstanding."

"Pupils' behaviour and conduct in lessons and around the school is excellent."

What our teachers says about working with NET Academies Trust:

"I feel like it is an incredibly supportive working atmosphere where people want the best for one another and go out of their way to do their best for both staff and pupils. It is pupil driven which is why I particularly agree with the academy's attitude towards priorities."

"The academy allows me to be part of something larger that makes a difference."

"Staff and pupils feel that we are all part of one family that help and support each other."
