Casual/Relief
Hours of work 8.30am - 3.30pm
Daily Rate of Pay £75.00
Are you looking for more experience in a secondary school before applying to undertake a teacher training course? Have you finished your university studies and looking for a route into the education system? Or are you an experienced cover supervisor looking for your next challenge?
We are looking to appoint a Cover Supervisor to work on a casual relief basis to work across schools in our Multi Academy Trust who are committed and professional people.
As a cover supervisor, you are required to deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of a class teacher on a short-term basis. This role involves a lot of autonomy and the Trust is looking for dynamic and engaging staff who build strong rapport with students and staff. You need to be calm under pressure and happy to cover a wide variety of subjects.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in an educational setting and many cover supervisors go on to be very successful teachers. Cover supervisors are encouraged to immerse themselves in all aspects of school life.
You will ideally have experience in a school, tuition, coaching or alternative education setting. We will however, consider graduates who don't have school based experience but are keen to progress on to teacher training programmes.
In return you will receive an excellent rate of daily pay, payment will be made monthly and support during challenging moments. Cover supervisors benefit from flexible working arrangements, including day to day, short-term and longer-term contracts.
