Perryfields Junior School has a vacancy for a part-time SENCo to work two days per week from January 2020 or as soon after this date as possible.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead on developing exemplary provision for SEND children and interventions across our school.
You will need to be:

· emotionally intelligent.
The successful candidate would be employed as a teacher under the STPCD and will hold specific duties in the role of SENCo. You would need to hold the National Award for SEN Co-ordination, be working towards it, or willing to undertake the training.
You will need to line manage LSA teams and lead interventions across the schools, working closely with the Assistant Headteachers. You will be the lead role model on the teaching of interventions and will need to be prepared to teach our most vulnerable children if the SEND and intervention needs of the schools require this.
