TEACHER OF SCIENCE - SECOND IN CHARGE

The Sandon School is an oversubscribed 11-18 mixed comprehensive of 1250 students with an excellent reputation in the local area. We have superb facilities and view ourselves as an innovative teaching and learning community. The school is situated close to the A12 on the east side of Chelmsford within easy reach of Chelmsford, Colchester, Southend and Brentwood and has good public transport links.
We require from January a well-qualified, enthusiastic teacher to become deputy to the Head of Science and to have responsibility for key stage 3 within our strong, successful and supportive department. The post offers an excellent opportunity to be involved with a highly committed team who achieve good examination results at all key stages. Applications are invited from someone who is keen to take a strategic role in raising achievements in teaching and learning and inspiring students to participate and achieve within Science.
