We are looking to appoint a Learning Support / Nurture Assistant to join our amazing team to provide flexible and preventative intervention for children who have difficulties stemming from a lack of nurture. We aim to provide a bridge between home and school that allows the children to feel safe, explore boundaries and develop key skills needed to achieve their full potential in class.
The role would be to support in class - five mornings a week, as well as support the day-to-day running of The Beehive - our in-school Nurture Unit - five afternoons a week.


We are looking for a special person with the following skills:

 To demonstrate a clear understanding of attachment and nurture.

 Be able to enforce and maintain clear and consistent boundaries in line with the school's Behaviour Management Policy.

 Be committed and passionate about the wellbeing of our vulnerable children.

 Have knowledge of, and adhere to, the school's Safeguarding Policy.

 Be proactive, organised and a good team-player.

 Be able to adapt and use your initiative in response to certain situations.

 Take direction from supervisors.

 Work collaboratively as part of a class and school team.

 GCSE Grade C or above, or equivalent in Maths and English.
