Band 2 (Depending on experience) Actual Salary: £11,230 - £ 11,823 per Annum
28 hours 20 minutes per week
8.50am - 3.20pm - Term Time Only (30 mins lunch break & 20 Coffee break)
Osborne Co-operative Academy Trust wishes to appoint a Learning Support Assistant / IT Assistant committed to raising standards at Thameside Primary School, who were judged to be a 'good school' following an Ofsted inspection in October 2018. Our aim is to provide an outstanding education for all of our children.
As an LSA you will work in partnership with class teachers, to support learning in line with the National Curriculum and Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum, codes of practice, school policies and procedures. As an IT Assistant you will maintain the school network across a range of platforms and devices while providing support to a range of users across the school. You will provide effective support for your colleagues ICT needs across the school and liaise with the Network Manager and staff on all ICT related issues. You will be responsible for running the schools Social Media site and website, ensuring all updates are included and shared accordingly.

The successful candidate will have a keen interest in all areas of IT, have a thirst for knowledge and be keen to develop their skills. They must have a good standard of English and Mathematics and basic computer skills.
Experience of supporting pupils with a range of needs e.g. Asperger's, Autism, ADHD, speech and / or language difficulties
· Knowledge of successful strategies to engage pupils with specific and significant needs
· Experience of the EYFS and / or KS1 curriculum
· Flexible and adaptable with timetabling and the daily routines
· Excellent communication skills
· Personal Care
