Science Lab Technician

An opportunity has arisen for a Technician within the HE and Access team. The main duties of this role are to participate in the preparation of the day to day resources required by the delivery team, supporting the delivery of learning programmes.
Duties will be dependent on experience but will entail working alongside the lead lab technician with the organising of practicals, clearing up equipment and stock control.
What we are looking for
Previous experience working within this type of role along with knowledge of Health and Safety Regulations is essential as well as scientific knowledge. An NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification would be desirable but training will be given to the successful candidate. English and Maths at Level 2 are also required.
This post is fixed term and part time - the days that are mandatory are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday but hours could be flexible within the week.
