This is an exciting time for the school; our recent expansion has seen the provision of a new teaching block and improvements to the school grounds, and we are seeking an enthusiastic, reliable, flexible and conscientious person to take ownership of the maintenance and development of the school site.
The successful applicant will care for our school, take pride in its appearance and be committed to ensuring the school is a safe and secure environment for our children to thrive.
We are looking for someone who:
- Is an effective team member, and is also able to use initiative when working independently
- Has an approachable and caring attitude and is flexible and willing to help where needed
- Can communicate effectively across the whole school community
- Has proven general maintenance skills e.g. plumbing, decorating and carpentry
- Has a good understanding of Health and Safety requirements and an ability to implement and monitor practice to ensure compliance with procedures
Please note this is a split shift. There may be the occaisonal need for some additional evening and weekend work which will be paid on an overtime basis.
