Creative & Performing Arts Assistant
37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, Term time plus non pupil days
Band 2 to mid-point (Actual salary £15,866 - £16,486) inc outer fringe allowance
Required: ASAP/Immediate
The role involves working closely with all Creative and Performing Arts departments (CPA), maintaining equipment and providing technical support (including both sound and lighting - training will be provided where necessary) and classroom preparation.
The role also requires providing administrative support to the CPA faculty. This will include arranging and costing events, booking theatre tickets, coaches, collating and sending out event and trip information, student information and permissions slips and collecting and recording monies received on Excel.
Candidates will need to be organised, pro-active, work using their own initiative, possess good ICT skills and ideally have experience of providing technical support (although full training will be provided), working with young people and the flexibility to work a number of evenings throughout the school year. Candidates will be required to work a set number of hours each day, although the start and finish times will vary according to the needs of the school.
