Catering Assistant - maternity cover

: Catering Pay Range: Band 1. Point 6 to 10 £8.22 to £8.52 p/hr

16.25 hours p.w., 10.15 am - 1.30 pm

Are you passionate for cooking and have a commitment and desire to make a difference to the healthy lives of children?

Are you passionate that children receive the very best nutritional and healthy meals in a school setting?

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, and creative catering assistant.

The successful candidate will be someone who:

Has a passion for cooking,
Could support in implementing a whole-school approach to healthy eating
Some knowledge of school food requirements.
Can work to Provide meals in a hygienic environment
Support and maintaining a clean kitchen
Establishing good relationships with the catering staff, children and other members of staff

Information about the School

Stapleford Abbotts School was built in 1887 and has been an important part of village life since its establishment. Over the past ten years, the school has become popular and there has been considerable amount of refurbishment and new build. The school attracts children from a wide catchment area and from the neighbouring London Boroughs of Redbridge, Dagenham, and Havering. We are committed to. Involving the wider community with school life and work closely with other agencies including other rural schools in the Epping area.

All appointments are subject to safer recruitment requirements to ensure the safeguarding of children and young people. All positions will involve appropriate checks and clearances.
