1:1 SEN Learning Support Assistant
(Fixed Term Contract 1 Year - 1st September 2019 - 31st August 2020)
(Or in Accordance with Statutory Notice - The contract will be dependent on the length of time the pupil on roll)
based at; Horndon-on-the-Hill Primary School
Horndon-on-the-Hill, Stanford-le-Hope, SS17 8LR
Pay band 2 point 8 (Actual Salary £12,196)
8.30am-3.00pm Monday-Friday, 30 hours per week
30 Minute Lunchbreak (Unpaid)
Term Time only
We are looking to appoint a SEN Learning Support Assistant to take on a crucial role within our school. The successful candidate should have previous experience of working with vulnerable children and will be working within the Reception class supporting in all areas of learning of the Early Years Foundation Stage both indoors and outdoors.

You will work in partnership with class teachers, to support learning in line with the National Curriculum and Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum, codes of practice, school policies and procedures.

The candidates will preferably have relevant NVQ qualifications or equivalent. They must have a good standard of English and Mathematics and basic computer skills.
