We are looking for a creative, flexible and enthusiastic person to join our team of experienced LSAs. You will be expected to support pupils across our primary classes, in a range of areas taken from the early learning goals, as well as support with speech and language and social, emotional and self-help needs. In addition, you will provide administrative support to teachers.

This is a great opportunity to develop skills in working with SEN pupils in a special school setting. A commitment to working as part of a team and to developing your own skills is essential.

Applicants must have English and maths, at least GCSE grade C or equivalent.

Information about the School

Kingswode Hoe is a special school for pupils with complex learning difficulties. We take pupils aged between 5 and 16 (Y1 - Y11) living in the Colchester area. All pupils are admitted to the school by the Statutory Assessment team of Essex Local Authority based at Essex House in Colchester. We are currently funded for 151 places.

All appointments are subject to safer recruitment requirements to ensure the safeguarding of children and young people. All positions will involve appropriate checks and clearances.
