Teaching Assistant
With Mid-day duty
Permanent Contract
Starting date: 1st September 2019
Pay: Band 2 Point 3 - £18065 full time equivalent

We are a small primary school in the heart of the village of Newport, Essex. We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, skilled and motivated teaching assistant.
Applications are invited from Teaching Assistants who
· Wish to make a difference to children's learning
· Are able to assist children on an individual basis but also work as a member of the team
· Have excellent communication skills, with children, colleagues and parents
· Can demonstrate good organisational skills
· Can support inclusion in the classroom, ensuring all pupils feel involved with all tasks and activities
· Under the direction of the teacher, support the school curriculum, including literacy and maths
You will need to be:
· Positive and enthusiastic
· Calm and flexible in your approach to the role
· Reliable, resilient and able to take initiative

Monday to Friday 8.40 - 3.15pm
This is term time only plus training days.
