Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Catering Manager or Chef to join our well established catering team at Hylands School. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering healthy, exciting food within the challenges of a school environment. There is a great opportunity to make the catering service your own with new menus or even your own branding. We also have a school farm and would love to see the successful candidate take an active role in integrating this into the service. Sustainability is very important to us so shared values in this respect are key.
Although we are expecting a candidate familiar with food legislation and working in a busy kitchen, management experience is not essential as you will receive lots of support from the Facilities Manager to succeed in this respect. We would like to emphasise the importance of making sure food is at the heart of this service.
