Assistant Caretaker - 20 hours per week, Band 2 to mid point. Actual salary £8,072 per annum.
Chipping Hill Primary School is looking for a caring and enthusiastic person, who believes in our core values and specific ethos to join our experienced and excellent team of site staff under the guidance of our Site Manager. Hours are Mon - Friday, 2.30pm to 6.30pm, term time only.
Duties to include:
Locking up in the evenings .
General premises maintenance .
Security of the buildings and sites.
Ensuring the inside and outside environment are well maintained and meet Health and Safety requirements.
Cleaning duties (vacuuming, bin clearing, etc.)
Experience of maintenance, plumbing or DIY.
It is essential that the successful candidate can demonstrate the following:
* A strong, confident individual who can take control of tasks.
* Able to engage well with staff.
* Able to work under your own initiative.
* Smartly presented and with excellent time management skills.
Other necessary qualities include confidentiality, efficiency and being able to work under pressure and a willingness to contribute to the continued improvement of our school.
