We are looking for a part-time caretaker to maintain our school building and grounds.King's Ford Infant School & Nursery prides itself on being a child focused caring community; one in which all stakeholders views are valued. The position is for 15 hours per week, working 3 hours each afternoon, Monday to Friday(actual working hours could differ in school holidays). The pay grade LGS Band 2, actual salary starting salary will be £7,323.65 p.a. Holiday entitlement is 23 days holiday plus bank holidays.
We are looking for someone who:
- is a team player and will take pride in the appearance and maintenance of the school building and grounds
- is enthusiastic, highly motivated, reliable and flexible
- has general building and caretaking skills
Duties will include:
- Minor building, carpentry and plumbing repairs
- Decorating
- Health and safety (checking fire alarms, water temperatures, fences, risk assessments)
- Keeping the outside area tidy (sweeping, clearing bins and minor gardening)
- Porterage
- Other ad hoc caretaking duties as required
Visits are warmly welcomed and encouraged.
