Salary: up to £20,310 per annum pro rata / £15,728 actual salary
Hours: 35 hrs per week / 38 weeks per year
The college is seeking to appoint a Student Support and Retention Officer to work within the Student Support Team providing effective welfare support and guidance to our student body to improve retention and attainment.
The post-holder will support and monitor a caseload of vulnerable and at-risk learners to identify and remove any barriers to learning, working closely with curriculum teams.
The successful candidate will be required to demonstrate a high level of proactivity, problem solving skills and the ability to engage hard to reach learners. This post is subject to an enhanced DBS check.
The post will be based predominately at our Princes Rd campus.
