Teacher (Senior Tutor) in Physics and or Chemistry
Salary up to £37,964.00 per annum
Located in Harlow
Full time (37 hours per week)

About the role
We are seeking to strengthen our very successful STEM area by recruiting an enthusiastic and talented Physics/Chemistry teacher to work in the vocational areas of Engineering and/or Applied Science for level 2 and 3 learners. The successful candidate will play a key role in preparing, planning and delivering learning and co-ordinating formal assessments. As a creative and pro-active professional you'll be expected to use a range of effective and appropriate teaching and learning initiatives that engage, motivate and enable all learners of all abilities to develop and succeed, as well as maximising student potential. You will also be working to address individual learning needs, overcome barriers to learning and encourage autonomous learning.
What we are looking for
- A degree or equivalent in a relevant subject
- Curriculum knowledge and, where relevant, industrial experience in the relevant area.
- A teaching qualification and or assessing qualification.
