ASSISTANT HEADTEACHER
LEADERSHIP SPINE L13 to L17
£53,724 to £59,265
We are looking to appoint an Assistant Headteacher to join our School Leadership Team. The successful applicant will be an excellent leader, teacher and manager who can contribute to the further development of our school.
There is some flexibility in the roles carried out by members of the SLT as there is an expectation that responsibilities change over time to allow professional development. We welcome applications from candidates able to contribute and lead in some of the following areas:
· raising attainment and improving student progress
· establishing accountability via line management to develop leadership
· improving provision through monitoring, support and expectation
· leading and co-ordinating teaching and learning improvements
· student welfare and pastoral care
· leading and co-ordinating inclusive practice
· further development of student voice and mentoring
· co-ordinating intervention work
The strengths and experience of the successful candidate will influence the areas of responsibility given.
Applicants must be a high performing classroom practitioner with excellent motivational skills and have experience of positive behaviour management strategies. Applicants must be supportive of our vision for Catholic education.
