About the team
Our successful college at Stansted Airport opened in September 2018.
The College is a partnership between London Stansted Airport and Harlow College - the first of its kind at any airport in the country. The centre has purpose built, industry standard facilities providing training for over 500 young people per year.
About the role
This full time, permanent post holder will be responsible for ensuring all our students experience outstanding teaching, learning and assessment, for developing wider external links with the Engineering world that provide work placements and meaningful destinations for our learners and growing the overall provision.
What we are looking for
Qualified at degree level or extensive industry experience.
Experience of managing and developing individuals and teams
Previous experience of working in an educational setting is essential
Qualified teacher status or willingness to undertake teacher training
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
What we can offer
The successful candidate can expect investment in their personal and professional development as well as an excellent benefits package including 35 days annual leave plus bank holidays and an excellent Pension Scheme (Teachers' Pension Scheme or Local Government Pension Scheme). Starting salary of £41,441 per annum.
