Part time: 2.5 days per week
We are a friendly, child-centred, one form entry primary school only 20 minutes from Cambridge in the beautiful town of Saffron Walden on the borders of Hertfordshire, Essex, Cambridgeshire and Suffolk. We are a small collaborative team with incredible pupils who are keen to learn and whose behaviour is exemplary.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a job share teacher to join us in September working 2.5 days a week, two days teaching in a KS2 class and half a day PPA time in conjunction with the partner job share. If you are in the early stages of your career or looking to develop your classroom skills, this post can provide the support or challenge you need to be successful.
Applicants will need to be creative, innovative and a team player. Applications are welcomed from NQTs and experienced teachers. A sense of humour is essential!

Established in 1845, St. Mary's is a welcoming 1 form entry Church school with a caring ethos. We are situated in the centre of Saffron Walden, a thriving Essex market town close to the Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire and Suffolk borders and within easy travelling distance of both Cambridge and London. We enjoy excellent facilities, occupying a large and attractive site which also accommodates our Church Pre-school and an independent Before/After-school club.
