We are looking for a specialist teacher, with a commitment to continuing professional development, to join our Business and Economics team in September. Both subjects are popular options at KS4 and KS5 and exam results are strong. Each teacher has his/her own base which is equipped with thirty computers and an interactive whiteboard.
The successful candidate will be asked to teach Business Studies up to and including A Level. The ability to also teach Economics would be an advantage.
The post is suitable for either an NQT or a more experienced candidate. NQTs teach a reduced timetable and follow an excellent, year-long induction programme led by an Assistant Headteacher.
In 2018, 50% of NQTS achieved a promoted post within the school at the end of their induction year.
