Job Advert- St Helena School - Caretaker
Pay Range: Band 2 to midpoint (£17,007 to £17,681)
Full time - 37 hours per week 52 weeks per year
St.Helena School wishes to appointa new caretaker to join its team to undertake a wide range of duties including carrying out first line repairs and maintenance, lettings supervision, site security, porterage, some cleaning and to be a key-holder for out-of-hours emergencies and alarm calls. The ability to work without supervision is essential.
We're looking for you if you:
● Have ability to carry out first line repairs and maintenance,
● Are able to act as a key holder, carrying out security procedures for the buildings and grounds.
● Have the ability to manage you own time effectively and demonstrate a flexible approach.

Information about the School
St Helena School, part of the Sigma Trust, is a highly-regarded 11-16 co-educational Academy, recognised as Good by Ofsted in 2014 and now on a journey to Outstanding. Located on 17 acres in historic Colchester, the school has a fine blend of traditional and modern facilities and opened a £2.5m new Science block in 2015, and a £2.5m all weather pitch facility in February 2016.
