We are seeking to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic classroom practitioner to join our dedicated and already successful department. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a high-achieving department that will suit an applicant looking to move on to a Head of Mathematics post in the future. Previous management experience is NOT essential but an ability to take an active role in ensuring the highest possible standards in Key Stage 4 Mathematics is. In addition to the responsibility for KS4 you will also have the opportunity to teach across the full age and ability range as well as participate in a broad range of extra-curricular and enrichment activities. You will enjoy working with our motivated, well-behaved pupils and with a supportive and hard-working staff in this over-subscribed 11 - 18 mixed comprehensive school.
The successful candidate will be passionate about their subject, with strong interpersonal and organisational skills. A strong classroom practitioner with and the ability to enthuse and motivate students.
