The Billericay School is a heavily oversubscribed comprehensive in Essex with a specialism in Mathematics and Computing. The school has polite and engaged students who want to learn and benefits from good parental support.
We seek to appoint an exceptional classroom teacher of German and/or Chinese to work alongside a friendly, supportive and committed faculty. The post of Head of Chinese may be available for a suitably qualified candidate and will attract a TLR payment commensurate with the responsibility. A recruitment allowance may be available for suitable candidates. For a successful NQT, an Early Start scheme from 2 July, which includes payments across the summer holidays and a well-established induction package, will be available.
We will also consider applicants who have teaching experience and are interested in gaining qualified teacher status.
The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator, linguist and teacher with ambitions to progress. We are interested to hear from both NQTs and experienced teachers.
