Senior Tutor Carpentry
Salary up to £37,964.00 per annum

About the team
The programs the Construction Team delivers, are designed to engage and motivate students who are interested in learning about the various roles that are available in the Construction Industry and supporting learners to develop the knowledge and skills required. The programs provide a suitable foundation for progress to appropriate destinations, such as apprenticeships and employment.
About the role
The Senior Tutor works with students and other members of the team to ensure each student achieve their daily targets. You will be required to plan, deliver, assess off & on-site and develop the learner experience to enable them to achieve their learning goals, in accordance with the College's values and ethos.
What we are looking for
A minimum of a Level 3 qualification or equivalent in Carpentry or ideally have a degree or equivalent and relevant teaching and assessing qualifications (or the ability to obtain them),
Ideally have an Assessor Award & Verifiers qualification
Has curriculum knowledge and, where relevant, industrial experience in the relevant area
A flair for motivating and engaging learners to learn and work hard
Excellent organisation, planning and assessment skills that enable effective learning
Be open to the use of digital technologies for learning and assessment.
