We are seeking to appoint a Level 2 qualified or above candidate, in English, Mathematics and preferably Science to support the Examinations Officer with the implementation of written and on-screen mock and external examinations. Previous experience is preferable, however not essential. The post would suit applicants who wish to gain experience of working with students in an Academy setting.

Invigilators have a key role in upholding the integrity of the external examination and assessment process. They must supervise students during examinations, ensuring the Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ) guidelines are followed and maintained. To assist the Examinations Officer with examination arrangements and to report all instances of malpractice to the Examinations Officer or the Head of Centre (Principal).

You will need to be able to work with a professional approach and have a calm but authoritative temperament. Flexibility, initiative and the ability to work under the direction of the Lead Invigilator and Examinations Officer are essential.
