The Boswells School is looking to appoint an extremely enthusiastic, dedicated teacher of Design Technology. Our examination results are continually above the national average in the D&T courses that are offered. We are an outstanding Faculty that leads in the application of STEM and engages in the wider community for Engineering and Technology including working with Bloodhound SSC and Procat. The successful candidate needs to be someone who wants to make a difference, grow professionally and assist the Head of Department to build on the department's recent successes. We are looking for the successful candidate to deliver high quality Design Technology lessons and to join an already outstanding Computing, Business and Technology Faculty.
It is an ideal opportunity to begin or further develop a career teaching Design Technology as part of a supportive team of 10 specialists where technology is taught across all key stages. Applications from both experienced teachers and newly qualified teachers would be welcome

The Boswells School is a large 11-18 secondary school that serves the area of north Chelmsford. The school is an extremely popular, over-subscribed convertor academy that enjoys an excellent reputation in the local and wider community. We were graded ‘Good’ in every area by OFSTED in February 2017 and are working towards our goal of becoming a truly great school.
