1 :1 Midday Assistant for child with medical needs

Job Description

We require, to start as soon as possible, a 1:1 MDA to work with a child who is type 1 diabetic at Layer School. The job will be for a fixed term contract for the duration of the child attending our school. The hours are 12pm - 1pm, 5 days a week, term time.

Full training will be provided.

The successful candidate will be in both the dinner hall and outside areas. They should enjoy working with children and have good communication skills.

Layer Primary School is committed to safeguarding the welfare of children. All appointments will be subject to an enhanced DBS check, medical clearance and satisfactory references.

Salary Band 1 point 10 £1,884 per annum
