Salary: Leadership Scale (2-7) Starting point is dependent on the experience and expertise of the candidate

The Epsilon Star Trust (EST) is a successful Sponsor Multi Academy Trust based in Essex, currently comprising of two primary academies.
We are looking for someone to make a valuable contribution to the development of our newly founded Trust. As a Teaching and Learning Leader you will play a key part in ensuring the best possible quality of education for our pupils now, and as the Trust grows. You will use your wealth of knowledge and expertise in teaching and learning to workcollaboratively with our academies to help develop teachers to become exemplary classroom practitioners.
This is a new and unique opportunity for an experienced middle leader who is currently leading a phase or a subject, and would like to develop their leadership experience further to impact on the quality of teaching across our primary academies.
The post will enable you to fast track your career and gain expertise to extend your understanding of different leadership and teaching approaches. It will also prepare you for a variety of senior posts within The Epsilon Star Trust including future Headship.
This role involves coaching and mentoring, team teaching classes, modelling best practice, assisting in the recruitment and selection of outstanding teachers, supporting NQT's, developing policies and managing the CPD of staff. On occasions the Teaching and Learning leader may be required to take over the teaching of a class for a period of time. The post holder will be based within the academies as well as attending meetings at the Trust Head Office.
As a Leader within The Epsilon Star Trust, you will be paid on the Leadership Scale, including pension scheme (TPS), mileage and have access to private healthcare support.
