Cover Supervisor required as soon as possible
Unqualified Teaching Scale (Fringe Area) Point 1-3 (£18,339-£22,340 pa according to experience)
8.15am to 3.15pm, Monday to Friday
The Ockendon Academy are currently looking for Cover Supervisors to start as soon as possible.
The Academy strives for excellence and values all subjects playing their part in providing a well balanced education. We aim to equip students with systematic knowledge and understanding of a range of subjects, enabling them to develop their ideas, values and identities.
You should have a genuine and committed interest in the welfare and education of our students, enjoy working in a child centred environment and have a true passion for all subjects whilst understanding the strategies required to inspire and motivate students.
You will be required to cover lessons for absent staff including managing student behaviour, dealing with issues according to academy policy and procedures and keeping and updating records.
The ideal candidate will:
·Be educated to a first degree level or equivalent.
·Have evidence that they have supported students effectively and possess a capacity to motivate and inspire them.
·Have the ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with students, parents and colleagues.
