You will be an outstanding teacher with a flair for leadership and committed to promoting high standards of achievement and behaviour for all. You will have a clear understanding of how to raise outcomes for disadvantaged students

The English department is looking to build on the solid foundations laid by the current team and we are looking for passionate and driven individuals who strive to grow and who are full of excitement to make a contribution to the current teaching and learning strategies. You will be expected to have a genuine and committed interest in the welfare and education of our students and enjoy working in a child centred environment.

All successful candidates will:

·Be educated to a first degree level or equivalent and hold QTS.

·Have evidence that they have supported students effectively and possess a capacity to motivate and inspire them.

·Have the ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with students, parents and colleagues.
