SEN 1:1 Learning Support Assistant

Fixed term

Band 2 Point 11-14

27.5 hours per week-Term time only

8:45am start 3:15pm finish

Start date January 2019

We are looking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic and motivated SEN Learning Support Assistant to join our team and provide one to one support for a pupil with an Education Health Care Plan.

The successful Candidate will:

· Be patient and a good communicator with a positive disposition

· Be able to work as part of a team under the direction of the class teacher

· Have experience with supporting a child with special educational needs

· Be approachable and understanding

· Have a good sense of humour and be able to work using own initiative

· Hold GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics grade C or above
