Part-Time 1:1 Learning Support Assistant
13.5 hours per week (3 mornings) 8.45am-1.15pm
Term-time only
Required as soon as possible
We are looking for an experienced, dedicated and caring LSA to work with a KS2 child on a 1:1 basis to support learning.
Key responsibilities will include:
· Adopting relevant strategies to support the work of the teacher and increase the achievement of the pupil
· Promoting, supporting and facilitating inclusion by encouraging the participation of the pupil in learning and extracurricular activities.
· Using effective behaviour management strategies consistently in line with our school's positive behaviour policy and procedures.
· Communicating effectively and sensitively with the pupil to adapt planning to their needs and support their learning.
Experience of working with pupils who have additional needs is desirable but not essential. A minimum qualification of GCSE Mathematics and English grade C or equivalent qualification would be preferable.
