We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and caring LSA to join our dedicated team as soon as possible.

This opportunity involves working predominantly with a child in reception who has been granted additional funding linked to SEMH needs. This is a fixed term contract until July 2019.

This post will be for two part time positions; post 1- mornings plus MDA (22.5 hours), post two- afternoons plus MDA (15 hours).

It is desirable that you have experience of working with children with special educational needs and in particular in supporting children with social and emotional developmental needs.

You will need to be a team player who is flexible, organised and always kind and consistent. It is important that you are able to use your own initiative.

Gosfield Community Primary School is a small village school located in the beautiful countryside just outside Halstead. We are a 'good' school (2023) and are constantly striving to be the best we can be. We part of Attain Academy Partnership, based within Newlands Spring Primary School. Within our MAT we are linked with Newlands Springs, Rayne Primary School, Elm Hall, deVere Primary, Bocking Primary and Cressing Primary School.

We provide a cross curricular approach to learning and believe that children learn best through different experiences and through their own investigations; this learning is supported within a friendly, safe and secure environment.We are fortunate to have extensive grounds incorporating an area for forest school learning.

We benefit from a large network of supportive parents and volunteers, the FroGS (Friends of Gosfield Community Primary School) as well as enthusiastic governors that regularly visit the school.
