Job Title: Cleaner

Job Grade: Band 1 SCP 7 (£8.55ph)

Responsible to: Facilities Manager

Hours/Weeks: Monday- Friday 15.00- 17.30 -12.5 hrs per week/Permanent

Duties of the post

· To undertake cleaning within the school according to specifications

· To carry out cleaning in all areas of the school as directed by specifications

· To carry out the necessary replacement of toilet rolls and replacement of bin liners

· To undertake training as directed in the correct use of cleaning equipment

· To notify the Site Manager or Cleaning Supervisor of any damage to buildings or equipment

· To carry out any other duties relating to the cleanliness of the school premises

· To comply with individual responsibilities in accordance with the role of Health and Safety in the workplace.
