Due to the retirement of our longstanding Headteacher, the Governors invite applications from practising and committed Catholics who have the vision, dynamism, ambition, skills and experience to build on the achievements of our successful seaside school. Start date is flexible.
This Catholic independent primary school, for boys and girls 4-11 years, provides a stimulating environment in which pupils can learn and grow. Pupils are supported spiritually and socially in a caring and loving environment based firmly on a Christian vision. The school provides an education that allows pupils to make the most of their abilities, interests and talents so that they will progress as confident and independent individuals with a joy of learning. Pupils of all abilities achieve well and their attainment is above the national average. They are highly disciplined and have an excellent knowledge and understanding of music, art and communication skills.
The new Headteacher will:

· Have a clear strategic vision with the ability to lead, inspire and motivate staff.
· Be experienced in the use of data and evaluation tools.
· Have proven experience of whole school development.
· Work alongside a supportive governing body.
