To undertake cleaning within the school according to Procedures Codes using a variety of methods including machinery and adhering to safety regulations.

The successful candidate will work during each week of term time including non-pupil days.
Holiday will be deemed to be taken during school closure periods. There is no entitlement to take holiday during term time.
Pay
This post is paid on Pay Band 1. The full time pay range for this Band is £16,394 to £16,863 per year plus an outer fringe allowance and so the actual salary range for this part-time post will be £4,877.08 to £5,011.70 per year) (£8.81 to £9.05 per hour). These figures include the holiday pay entitlement and outer fringe allowance for someone with less than 5 years' service.
Employees are paid monthly in twelve equal months per year.
Probation
All individuals new to employment with Essex County Council will be required to satisfactorily complete a six month probationary period.
Information about the School
In September 2023 Endeavour Co-operative Academy will be a 5 – 19 school for 172 young people, all with an EHCP. The primary need of pupils is Moderate Learning Difficulties. Our classes have, on average, 12 pupils and 1.5 Teaching Assistants. All teachers are class tutors, which involves responsibility for registration, reports and Annual Reviews for a class.
All appointments are subject to safer recruitment requirements to ensure the safeguarding of children and young people. All positions will involve appropriate checks and clearances.
