SEN 1:1 Learning Support Assistant

Job Description

SEN Learning Support Assistant 1:1 (Foundation Stage) Fixed term 1 year.

We require a highly effective and experienced person, to work with a hearing impaired pupil. A BSL qualification to at least level one is essential.

The successful candidate will be expected to work under direction from the KS1 class teacher and SENCO. The ability to adapt to working on a 1:1 basis and in groups would be beneficial.

The position would suit a patient, supportive person who can establish clear verbal and non-verbal expectations and positive relationships with children and adults.

Good standard of English and Maths will be required.

The hours are 9am to 3pm - 25hrs per week, term time only.
