The successful candidate will be an exceptional practitioner with an excellent knowledge of effective pedagogy and a driven professional who is able to maintain a focus on improving the quality and consistency of teaching and learning, assessment and feedback and who will continue to raise pupil aspirations by broadening their horizons and making them responsible for their learning.

The role will work with the Trust to secure and sustain effective teaching and learning at Belfairs Academy; and to monitor and evaluate the quality of teaching and standards of pupils' achievement, using benchmarks and setting targets for improvement.

You will have a good degree, and will have at least two years' experience of successful Senior Leadership which can be evidenced through outcomes in your areas of responsibility. You will also be an outstanding communicator with the ability to engage with and motivate staff, students, and parents/carers.

Belfairs is a vibrant Academy with 1400 students on roll from 11-18 yrs. We were graded a good school by Ofsted in 2013. We are a a highly successful and heavily oversubscribed academy in south east England with high quality and well-resourced facilities.
