Immediate start - Grays Convent High School require an Art/Media and Whole School Display Technician to work within the Art Department and across the school to maintain all school displays and materials and to be responsible for news feeds and marketing of the school.

The main role of the post will be to:

· To work under the day to day supervision of the Head of Art in providing an effective support service to the Art Department.

· To ensure art rooms are fit for use, to prepare and clear up resources required for lessons.

· To support staff and pupils in practical lessons.

· To ensure that on a daily, weekly and termly basis, the working environment is maintained to a safe standard.

· To assist all departments with in-house displays across the school.

· To be responsible for all media and marketing of the school including social media news feeds relating to school achievements, pictures, twitter feeds etc.

This is a term time only post and includes Non-pupil days. You will be contracted for 33¾ hours per week (Monday to Friday) 8.15am-3.30pm. The post is a Support Staff Band 3 position and the salary range is £14,104 to £16,095 per annum. Flexibility is essential to the post as it may be necessary for you to attend evening events relating to publicity of the school.
